In form Duns Striker Chris Ward, who is currently leading the goal scoring chart with 5 goals in 3 games, could be out for up to six weeks with a cracked rib. Playing already injured in Saturdays draw at home to Albion Star Chris received a blow to the ribs which resulted in him coming off hurt. The resulting blow has fractured Chris's ribs who will now face the next six weeks with his feet up on the settee, its a hard old life. The Duns have a good squad and hopefully will not feel the effects too much with the young forward out. |

| After a brief pre-season and opening day game with Sirocco Works Football Club big Craig McCormick has made the decision to come back to the Duns. Craig was a key figure in the Duns defence last year and will be welcomed back with open arms by both Manager Dee Caughey and players who have the upmost respect for the big man. With transfer forms signed Craig just about scrapes through the window to be eligible to play against Albion Star at Billy Neill this weekend. |
| After having a steel rod put right through the bone from knee to ankle in his surgery young Ross seems to have come through it very well. The Doctors have given him very positive feedback and by there reckoning he will be back training late December early January which is a lot better than first anticipated. Get the feet up kid and get the leg rested, no moon walking in the Moat. Good luck with the recovery. |
Unfortunatley during training last Thursday night young Ross Corry came off the worst after a nasty tackle from the keeper (who shall remain anonymous) and broke his leg in a bad way. Ross is still in the Ulster Hospital and evryone at or connected with Dundonald FC would like to wish him a very speedy recovery, get well soon kid. UPDATE: It seems the young lad has broke his Fib and Tib and during surgery has had a steel rod inserted. Get the feet up kid watch a bit of Jeremy Kyle and Judge Judy and then come back even stronger after a good rest with the new bionic leg. |
2nd Team Manager Gary 'The Special One' Niblock has resigned from the club after taking the seconds all the way to the 3E Title. After 2 Years at the club Gary decided it was time for a new challenge and leaves the club with the best wishes for the future and the upmost thanks for all his hard work over the last couple of seasons from all the Management, Staff and Players from Dundonald FC. He will be very much missed especially being one of the bigger characters at the club but from the 2nd Team especially we'd just like to say a big thanks mate for your efforts with the team, your crappy jokes, Baldie head, amazing ability to control the ball with your face and shocking Seagul dance moves will be hard to replace good luck mate at your new post as Sirocco 2nd Team Manager hope you have as much success there as youve had here.
